Maybe emojis are advanced technology for humans to perform hypnosis. The emojis they use most often are what they want to feel - experience - attract more of into their life, and how they want to be seen by others. In this way a person’s most used emojis form a vision board, a north star, a gold pocket watch. We can make meaning of emojis as we do with the enigmatic smile of the Mona Lisa. Maybe the envisioning of worst case scenarios is a form of comfort in the face of an unknowable future. We look at what would happen if the partner - job - parent vanished and we venture into that cave from time to time to shelter from the storm of the demands of the present. In our minds, perhaps the story is a thrilling, rousing escapade! A bone-chilling horrific tragedy! An inspirational triumphant battle! However the story looks, it is a story, so the plot beats are all there as well. The story has a legible arc, life does not. Take me down easy to break bread with the devil I know.

Although some may fixate on flaws they see concerning their body - personality - face, and thereby view themselves as relatively unsexy, such squabbles are akin to chastising one’s performance at the Olympics. Might your distant ancestors have been overjoyed to have the assets you have? Can this deduction show you exactly what you’ve been gifted?
